Every year we start a list of things that we hope to accomplish for the new year. One of the main ones for many is to lose weight. This is why many gyms offer ridiculous discounts in the beginning. These discounts bring in a greater population of members and then by February/ march that number is drastically reduced. Why?? Because we stop going physically to the gym. Yet, we don’t cancel the membership in hopes that we will make it back. So we lose on both ends the gyms are still receiving the funds even though the bodies have stopped coming in and we lose out because we gave up on the goal of losing weight. So does having a new year’s resolution even pay???
